The Marvin Community Development Services Corporation (MCDSC) will host its 9th Annual Golf Fundraising Tournament on Saturday, August 3, 2024. The tournament will take place at the Carolina Lakes Golf Club, 23012 Kingfisher Drive, Indian Land, SC 29707. We have earmarked the Common Heart Getting Ahead program to support this year.

MCDSC seeks your corporate/business sponsorship for this event. This is an opportunity for your company/business to advertise and help support a charitable cause. MCDSC is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent the IRS Tax Code allows. Proceeds from our annual golf tournaments go toward scholarships for high school graduates, charitable giving, and community service programs and activities that fall under the Corporation’s mission and vision.

Our past golf tournaments and banquets have allowed us to donate $20,000 to local scholarship funds, to help those in hardship and support other local charities. Portions of our giving this past year went to support the Union County Public School Social Workers, back to school supplies for our youth, Common Heart and Shelter Health Services. Our donations went to help those in need of food and/or shelter and to elevate our community to live more abundantly.

We seek sponsorships at various levels and company/business promotional items for inclusion in our golfers’ swag bags. Please see the attached form for more details. Sponsorships will be included on our website, in the tournament slide show presentation, on our sponsor banner and acknowledged at our awards lunch reception. Deadline for sponsorships and signage graphics is July 20, 2024. Deadline for donations is July 27, 2024.
