About
The Marvin Community Development Services Corporation (MCDSC) is a non-profit organization and shall be operated for community development and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
MCDSC was established to address, educate, coordinate, and provide programs, services and solutions within our local, Union County North Carolina, and surrounding communities for the benefit of community development.
Our programs include but are not limited to performing needs assessments of the hungry, educational attainment, health, socio-economical development, technical literacy and the general welfare of the catchment area. Based on the assessments, develop programs to address the identified deficiencies, gaps in service, and the lack of access/opportunities that negatively impact individuals and community gains.
Mission Statement
The Marvin Community Development Services Corporation (MCDSC) is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization. We provide and/or sponsor social, economic, and educational programs and services. MCDSC also engages in other activities that promote and support individual and community development for the benefit of residents of Union County, North Carolina and surrounding areas.
